Recently opened Braindead Brewing has joined the ranks of Deep Ellum's late-night dining options. The brewpub keeps the doors open till 2 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights; the full menu stops being available at midnight, but beer-drinking patrons can order off an abbreviated menu of snacks until close.
Late-night menu items of note include:
- Cap'n Crunch-crusted grilled PB&J with chunky peanut butter and raspberry jam
- crab rangoon served with sweet Thai chili sauce
- a Mexican-style hot dog with avocado, queso fresco, black beans, and lime crema served on a bolillo roll
- parmesan and Asiago-crusted grilled cheese made with cheddar, Maytag blue, Gruyere, and truffle oil, with a side of roasted tomato basil sauce for dipping
Other options for post-midnight eats in Deep Ellum include Buzzbrews, Serious Pizza, and Stonedeck. Need late-night sustenance in a different part of town? There's an Eater map for that.
