Here's a look inside Spork, the result of the dramatic revamp of an abandoned Sonic drive-in at Preston and Frankford. With the help of partners Tim Byres, Christopher Jeffers, Christopher Zielke, Bradley Borchardt, and Sean Conner, former Mexican Sugar chef Eric Justice has transformed the former temple of corn dogs and Ocean Water into a family-friendly dining destination with a creative menu of build-your-own burgers and sandwiches and cocktails. Will Spork trailblaze a new trend of turning old fast-food places into chef-driven restaurants? Keep your fingers crossed.
