Where she eats when she's not cooking at Trinity Groves.

Chef Blythe Beck made a name for herself in Dallas cooking at now-defunct spots like Hector's on Henderson and Central 214 (and starring in her very own reality show), and now she's had the distinction of being the longest-running chef at Kitchen LTO, Trinity Groves' ever-evolving pop-up concept. When she's not at LTO cooking up her particular brand of Southern-fried, booze-laced comfort food, here's where you'll find Chef Beck eating and drinking around Dallas.

Favorite breakfast or brunch place?
This is a tough one because I am not usually up for either but when I do go out for brunch I love Buzzbrews — lattes the size of your face? Yes, please.

Where do you go for a quick lunch?
Um... the truth? Luby's! I am obsessed. I also love the salad area at Eatzi's.

Where/what do you eat after you get off work late?
Shell Shack is where I love to go after working late. There is something very sexy about getting to go eat crawfish at midnight.

Where do you like to drink, and what do you usually order?
Vickery Park — those boys are my people. I order a Lazy Tango and a Miller Lite.

Best fancy date night destination?
My fiancé and I just had an incredible meal at Five-Sixty. I have a culinary crush on Chef Ray over there. What that man does with egg noodles... oh my gosh!

What's your favorite pizza place?
Piggy Pies. I love the cheese to bread ratio.

Do you have a favorite burger in town?
I love Mooyah.

Best ethnic restaurant?
I love the salsa at Mariano's. I love Pho at Pho Apple and their handmade noodles. And if we are going French, we go to Boulevardier.

Any hidden gems or hole-in-the-walls you swear by?
I love Vietnam. Their food is delicious and I have been eating there for years. Not hidden but the iced tea at Eatzi's is the best in the world. Boiling Crab is a place I would eat everyday if I could. Their crawfish are the best I've ever had.

Any favorite restaurants when you travel?
My favorite that I am just in love with and go whenever I am in NYC is Scarpetta by Scott Conant. The food is outstanding and the hospitality is warm! Love it!
