Neapolitan Pizza Sensation Cane Rosso is Headed to Houston

Neapolitan pizza savior Jay Jerrier has forsaken us: That traitor is taking Cane Rosso on the road to our arch-nemesis city. According to a Facebook page for the first out-of-town branch, Cane Rosso Houston will open in the so-hot-right-now dining neighborhood known as The Heights. Per CultureMap Houston, "If all goes according to plan, Cane Rosso will begin construction in July or August with an eye towards a December opening."

Kidding aside, this will be the sixth location of Jerrier's pizzeria if you count the impending Carrollton outpost; the first restaurant opened in Deep Ellum back in 2011.
