Jonathon and Christine Erdeljac are preparing to double down in Oak Cliff: Their second restaurant Kessler Park Eating House will finally soft-open this Friday, reports CW33.
Their first restaurant Jonathon's Oak Cliff is known for indulgent brunch and lunch fare like killer chicken and waffles and a standout club sandwich, but the Eating House will focus more on foods from Jonathon's West Virginia childhood, the chef has said previously. A full menu has yet to surface, but the Erdeljacs have offered a taste of things to come via the restaurant's Facebook page— think handmade pasta with bolognese and pepperoni rolls that vaguely resemble kolaches:

"We feel like every great neighborhood needs a great eponymous restaurant," Erdeljac tells CW33. Kessler Park Eating House is located on Beckley Avenue just a half-mile or so from their other restaurant; the restaurant will launch with dinner only, with brunch service to be added Easter weekend and lunch to follow shortly thereafter.
