Here's a look inside the new Dish, now open in Preston Hollow. As you might expect from the location, this one's considerably more family-friendly than the Cedar Springs original known for its drag queen brunch, complete with a kids menu.
Former Bolsa chef Andrew Bell is running things in the kitchen, and while many menu items are carried over from the first Dish (scallops with pearl couscous, bacon, and sweet corn, a bourbon-marinated pork chop, and deviled eggs) there are plenty of new additions too, like a mezze plate with fresh-baked pita and tempura okra and green beans with wasabi-yuzu aioli. A screened-in patio with overhead heaters and a very cool firebox (as well as TVs and its own bar) keeps things toasty warm in the midst of the lovely winter weather Dallas is currently experiencing. Show up between 3 and 5 p.m. weekdays for s'mores and martinis on said patio.
Dish Preston Hollow is now open daily for lunch and dinner, with brunch service on Saturdays and Sundays.
