Bizarro McDonald's-Themed Black Sabbath Cover Band to Perform at Trees

Check out their "Iron Man" parody, "Frying Pan."

Um, okay.

Are you a fan of Ozzy Osbourne's glory days? How about Big Macs and/or grown-ass men dressed up like the Hamburglar? It's your lucky day, because the truly bizarre musical quartet known as Mac Sabbath is coming to Dallas for a performance at Trees on September 27.

As Eater.com discovered last year, "Mac Sabbath is a Black Sabbath cover band that dresses like McDonald's Happy Meal characters. The band members revised the lyrics of popular Sabbath songs so that they relate more to food and less to death. ... Ronald Osbourne leads the band's vocals, and Mayor McCheese plays lead guitar in place of Tony Iommi. On the drums is The Hamburglar, and Grimace plays bass."

The question here — besides uh, why? — is: Will Mac Sabbath be better than Pizza Underground, the pizza-themed Velvet Underground cover band fronted by Macaulay Culkin that Deep Ellum was forced to endure not once but twice last year? They certainly can't be much worse.

Behold Mac Sabbath's "Iron Man" parody, "Frying Man" (if you dare):
