Opening Alert: Addison Welcomes Taqueria La Ventana and a Brand New Snuffer's

Addison gets two new dining options today with the opening of side-by-side locales of cheese fry haven Snuffer's and street taco destination Taqueria La Ventana. The duo from Firebird Restaurant Group takes over the real estate at 4180 Belt Line Road formerly occupied by Duke's Roadhouse.

The new Belt Line Snuffer's replaces an older Addison location that was just around the corner on Midway Road. Expect all the usual favorites from the Greenville Avenue-born icon, including food coma-inducing cheddar fries and burgers on poppy seed buns. Meanwhile, it's only the second location for La Ventana, and while the downtown Dallas original is merely a walk-up window situated on a patio ("la ventana" does mean window, after all), this one's got plenty of interior seating to shield diners from the impending summer temperatures. Per GuideLive, it's got a full bar as well as "new dishes such as queso, guacamole, elote and salads."

Stay tuned for a third Taqueria La Ventana at the Dallas Farmers Market, joining the restaurant lineup that's in the works for the building formerly known as Shed 2.
