The Dallas outpost of Japanese wonder Uchi is undoubtedly the season's most anticipated opening. Now, the first sneak peek at the more-or-less finished Uchi Dallas dining room, courtesy of the Austin export's Facebook page:

In addition to a cool hexagonal tiled floor, custom-built wood booths, and funky modern light fixtures, the prized photo also depicts the sushi bar at which Dallas diners will soon be feasting on unusual sushi rolls like the Pitchfork (Wagyu beef, crispy leek, avocado, yuzu kosho) and the Ham & Eggs (katsu pork belly, egg yolk custard, espelette).
Feast your eyes on the full menu here, including a few Dallas-exclusive dishes from chef Nilton Borges Jr. In the meantime, you might want to clear your dinner calendar for the foreseeable future — no official opening date for Uchi Dallas has been announced just yet, but with the interior looking ready for final touches, expect it to be very soon.
