Former Komali Chef Anastacia Quinones Snags Kitchen LTO Gig

The next chef to take the reins at Kitchen LTO is one many Dallas diners will recognize: Anastacia Quinones, who will be slinging the sort of refined modern Mexican fare she became known for at Alma and Komali.

Current chef Blythe Beck will cook her last meal at LTO on May 31; Quinones' — or AQ, as she's often referred to — first night running the show will be Tuesday, June 2, and she'll stay on through the end of 2015. The dining room will be freshened up with new artwork from Crimson Shults, who per a press release works in "bright and bold abstract colors."

A Culinary Institute of America grad, Quinones left Komali in 2013 to raise her newborn daughter and has been teaching culinary classes at Moises E. Molina High School since.

Diners will have a chance to taste some AQ-created specials in advance of her June 2 debut in order to get the staff acclimated to the new dishes; scope out her proposed menu, below:
