Hypnotic Donuts is Expanding With an Old-Fashioned Soda Fountain

Dallas's original weirdo doughnut purveyors are preparing to enter a whole new market. Last night via social media Hypnotic Donuts announced its plans for Hypnotic Emporium, a throwback ice cream shop and soda fountain. Per the announcement:

We will be selling homemade ice cream, sodas, phosphates, malts and floats. In addition, we will have homemade chocolates and a selection of vintage candies all in a 1920's soda shop feel.

While the Hyppies are staying tight-lipped on the location for now, they do promise the new venture will be "within walking distance" of the original White Rock doughnut shop. Look for Hypnotic Emporium to open this fall — too late to indulge summertime ice cream cravings, sure, but just in time to help you fatten up for the colder months.
