Lakewood's got a new 'round-the-clock option for pancakes, eggs, and booze: Local diner favorite Buzzbrews is now open at Skillman and Live Oak, in the space previously occupied by giant cinnamon roll legend The Mecca.
Expect all the same menu favorites as the other Buzzbrews locations, including stuffed crepes, banana nut pancakes, and the beloved "Mr.C" (a chorizo and cheese scramble with a side of garlic potatoes). The bar here is considerably more well-stocked than the other Buzzbrews locales, with more than 30 craft beers on tap plus wine, mixed drinks, and perhaps best of all, cold, bubbly prosecco on tap.
Per Buzzbrews director of operations Megan Estep, Buzzbrews Lakewood is keeping hours until midnight (with the bar open till 2 a.m.) through next Thursday. After that, it'll be open 24/7. Stay tuned for the next addition to the Buzzbrews family: A fourth location is in the works for Victory Park.
