Don't feel like driving to Austin and waiting in line for hours to get a taste of the hallowed Franklin Barbecue? Here's your chance: Aaron Franklin will cook in Dallas for the very first time next month — with John Tesar, no less.
The dinner featuring the dynamic duo of Franklin and Tesar goes down Monday, June 1 at 7 p.m., kicking off a week-long series of five fundraising dinners for EAT (RED) DRINK (RED) SAVE LIVES to be held at Knife. Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased here, but best be quick: There's only 40 available. Half of the ticket price goes directly to the charity, and beverages and gratuity are included.
Also to come in Knife's celebrity chef fundraising series: Vegas's Alex Stratta, Portland's Naomi Pomeroy, San Antonio's Tim Rattray, and LA's Kris Morningstar. Tickets for those events can be purchased here.
UPDATE: Tickets for the Aaron Franklin dinner are now completely sold out.
