TRINITY GROVES—LUCK's doughnut and beer pairings have proved so popular, they're bringing 'em back for a third round. This Sunday at brunch they'll offer a flight with four doughnut and beer pairings: an almond-strawberry old-fashioned with Firewheel StrIPA, a Nutella-drizzled chocolate old fashioned with Cobra Donut Dunker, a watermelon yeast-raised with Lakewood Hopochondria, and a turtle-frosted chocolate with Texas Ale Project's Somethin' Shady. This will no doubt sell out, so best get there early; brunch begins at 11 a.m. sharp. [EaterWire]

OAK CLIFF/LOWEST GREENVILLE—Dude Sweet Chocolate always has something new and weird up its sleeve. Case in point: Its new Elote, a soft butter toffee made with corn and Valentina hot sauce. Whoa there.

OAK CLIFF—Sure, Dallas has plenty of half-price wine nights, but most of 'em are mid-week. If you're looking to save some cash on booze this weekend, consider going BYOB at one of these five places including Bocce Italian Kitchen and Cheesesteak House. [Advocate]
