Tallywackers Will Serve Extra-Large Hot Dogs, Naturally

Duh.

Tallywackers/Facebook

The news of Tallywackers' impending Oak Lawn invasion took the internet by storm, as people marveled over the existence of a restaurant that would put male eye candy on display — nevermind the fact that you can barely walk down the street in DFW without tripping over a breastaurant.

As our very own male equivalent of Hooters inches closer to opening, Tallywackers has finally launched its website complete with a menu. Don't expect haute cuisine here, but there is plenty of innuendo to feast upon — from the eponymous one-pound hot dog to the S&M Burger (that's swiss and mushrooms), plus a Tallywacker Sunday [sic] AKA a banana split. Other less punny menu items include chicken-fried steak, shrimp and grits, flatbreads, and a croque monsieur.

The website also explains the origins of the Tallywackers concept: "The Tallywackers founder originated the idea 10 years ago while enjoying the business we all know and love known as 'Hooters'. He asked himself the same question we’ve all been asking for years—'Why isn’t there a male version for the opposite demographic?'" Indeed.

Stay glued to Tallywackers' Facebook page for an opening date, not to mention plenty of NSFW-ish beefcake.
