MCKINNEY—Downtown McKinney farm-to-table lunch favorite Patina Green is now serving dinner every Friday and Saturday night (plus they've now got a license for beer and wine). Reservations are recommended, and the menu will change weekly; see the inaugural menu below. [EaterWire]

UPTOWN—The Standard Pour's got a new brunch menu courtesy of chef Cody Sharp. Southern-influenced dishes include fried quail over cheddar waffles with cracked pepper gravy; warm cinnamon sugar doughnuts; a fried chicken biscuit; and the TSP Benedict with braised collard greens and corn griddle cakes. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWN—Dallas Chop House will host a patio cookout to benefit the North Texas Food Bank on Thursday, May 21 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Corporate chef AJ Joglekar will be grilling up free burgers, and bartenders will be on hand shaking up craft cocktails.
