HENDERSON—Gringo taco favorite Velvet Taco has updated its menu with some unusual new selections. Additions include an Israeli couscous taco with parsley-mint pesto, tzatziki, roasted portobello mushrooms, grilled halloumi cheese, and pickled Fresno chiles in a lettuce wrap; a shrimp and grits taco with blackened shrimp, crispy pepper jack cheese grits, Creole mayo, and charred tomato poblano salsa; and a cornmeal-fried oyster taco with remoulade, Napa slaw, roast corn pico, and chili butter on a hibiscus corn tortilla. DEEP ELLUM—Glazed Donut Works has a new addition: Cupped balls? WTF? Oh wait, it's just doughnut holes in a cup. Available in red velvet or salted chocolate, they come six to an order and you should probably swing by the late-night window between 10:30 p.m. and 2 a.m. to snag some. Just saying. DELIVERY WIRE—Making it a Netflix night? Food delivery app Caviar is dropping its delivery fee to $1 all day from any of its restaurant partners, including Mot Hai Ba, Cane Rosso, HG Sply Co., Malai, Deep Sushi, and more. [EaterWire]
