HENDERSON—Hibiscus chef Graham Dodds will host a wine dinner on Tuesday, June 9 with Oregon winemaker John Grochau of Grochau Cellars. Hors d'oeuvres will be followed by five courses, including housemade charcuterie, goat carpaccio, and strozzapretti with Muscovy duck bolognese. DOWNTOWN—Starting this week, the Dallas Farmers Market will host Evening in the Shed (formally known as Market After Dark) from 4 to 9 p.m. every Thursday night. Expect farmers, artisan food and drinks (including local wine and beer), arts and crafts vendors, live music, vendor demos, and more; this week, local jazz singer Sherna Armstrong will perform and Fernando Moreno of Pachi Pachi Valley Cheese will demonstrate how to make mozzarella. OAK CLIFF—Looking for something to do tonight? Hit up Tuesday night jazz at Small Brewpub, featuring the Shelley Carol Quartet (formerly of the now-defunct Amsterdam Bar) and $5 historical cocktails by barman Benj Pocta.
