Texas Motor Speedway's New 'Loaded Hawg Dawg' is Trying to Kill You

Because America, that's why.

Not to be outdone by the ridiculous baseball concessions at Globe Life Park, NASCAR mecca Texas Motor Speedway has just unveiled an unnerving new creation of its own: The "Loaded Hawg Dawg" is described via press release as "a delicious, oversized sandwich featuring a generous portion of slow-cooked pulled pork, two mozzarella cheese sticks and two thick slices of bacon on a foot-long bun. It is then topped off with cheddar bacon jalapeno queso and sliced jalapenos." That's right America, mozzarella sticks are now being used as a sandwich condiment. While it's certainly possible that the person who created this thing was sober, it seems pretty unlikely.

Tragically, this Dawg will only be available at the concession stand on the concourse inside the Gate 4 main grandstand entrance this Friday and Saturday. Previous concessions creations at Texas Motor Speedway have included Doritos-crusted chicken wings (also smothered in queso, natch), a bacon beer milkshake, and a bacon cotton candy martini. Whether or not you're a fan of watching cars drive in circles, perhaps a visit to sample said concessions are in order — just don't forget to refill that Lipitor prescription.
