Dallas's Ramen Boom Rages On With the Arrival of Wabi House

It's currently in soft opening mode; the grand opening is Saturday.

Please welcome your newest ramen option, Dallas: Wabi House is now slinging bowls of porky tonkotsu on Lowest Greenville Avenue, right next to Dallas Beer Kitchen. A cool indoor/outdoor front bar will make an ideal perch for nighttime sake-sipping, or grab a stool at the ramen bar in the back; there's also cushy half-moon booths that would comfortably fit six or so hungry ramen lovers.

Besides four varieties of ramen, other menu highlights include fried shiitakes with bone marrow butter and Brussels sprouts with fried beet strings and cashews. (Scope out the fulll menu this way).

Parking is a bit meager, but try the lot behind the building or the one behind the Firestone, which the restaurant shares with Dallas Beer Kitchen (valet should be coming soon, thankfully). Oh, and don't forget to scope out that sweet dragon mural in the back hallway near the bathrooms.
