Uber Delivers Ice Cream; Picnic Pop-Up on the Bridge

DELIVERYWIRE—Uber may be best known for delivering drunk people safely home, but on Friday it will deliver something else: ice cream. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., fire up your Uber app and tap the ice cream button for delivery within 10 minutes. It's $25 for five servings, and it looks like it'll be either Steel City Pops or "ice cream truck classics." Either one will probably make you the office hero. WEST DALLAS—Of all the places to host a pop-up, the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge might be one of the coolest. This Saturday starting at 5:30 p.m., personal chef service Living29 and Lala's Cakes will host a lemonade stand and picnic pop-up serving Vietnamese summer rolls (vegan option available) and cinnamon rolls, all made with local and organic ingredients.
