Two beloved Dallas restaurants are expanding to the west: Pizza Romana specialist Olivella's will open in Fort Worth, and perennially popular brunch spot Bread Winners is headed to the affluent Denton County suburb of Trophy Club.
Per CultureMap Dallas, Olivella's — which opened its first location near SMU and now has two more in Lakewood and Victory Park — is taking over a space previously occupied by Jakes Burgers at 6333 Camp Bowie Blvd. and is anticipated to open by the end of 2015.
Meanwhile, local brunch institution Bread Winners is bringing its boozier sibling Quarter Bar along for the ride to the ritzy northern suburb of Trophy Club. Per a press release, "owners Jim and Cindy Hughes have signed the lease on a property located on SH 114 frontage road in the Trophy Wood District, an up-and-coming suburban destination featuring distinctive dining, overnight accommodations, and development plans for future shopping, a Town Hall/Police facility and public amenities." The duo probably won't open until late 2016 or so.
