Big news for Frisco: Uptown's insanely popular day-drinking hangout The Rustic is headed that way. It will join a gigantic mixed-use development called Wade Park going up at the Dallas North Tollway and Lebanon Road.
The first phase of the development isn't scheduled to debut until Spring 2017, but it'll be a doozy. Other future tenants include Thirteen Pies, Steel City Pops, Torchy's Tacos, and Bread Zeppelin, plus Whole Foods Market, Hotel Zaza, a fancy iPic movie theater, and Pinstripes, a multifaceted "entertainment venue" that includes bowling, bocce ball, and an Italian bistro; plenty of office space and residential, too.
Sprawling mixed-use developments with high-end tenants are sprouting up all over the DFW suburbs: Richardson's CityLine development will include LOOK Cinemas, Whole Foods, an Aloft hotel, and a host of restaurants include Jasper's, Kin Kin, Coal Vines, and Taco Diner, while Plano's future Legacy West will be home to Toyota's new offices, a Renaissance Hotel, lots of residential, and a ton of restaurants such as Shake Shack and not one but three Alberto Lombardi projects.
