The Fort Worth outpost of Tillman's Roadhouse, home to glitzy chandeliers and fancy chicken-fried steak, is calling it quits. Per CultureMap Dallas, the last dinner service will be August 22.
The West 7th space won't lie dormant for long, though: In early October, it'll be reborn as a three-part concept from the Tillman's owners overseen by current chef Kalen Morgenstern (who you may have seen on Hell's Kitchen). According to a press release, the three components of soon-to-open Market + Table are as follows:
- Market: A market primarily for grab-and-go meals, plus "coffees, juices, prepared salads, entrees, sandwiches, cheeses and more," plus a small selection of groceries and pantry staples like olive oil, et al.
- The Living Room @ Market: Casual lunch and dinner served alongside craft cocktails, 16 local beers on tap, house-pressed juices, and an espresso bar. Inside seating as well as a patio that are "ideal for a light meal, a glass of wine, or a cheese board."
- Table: 44-seat restaurant in "a casually elegant setting" featuring a "regularly changing menu and market-fresh ingredients." Open for dinner only Wednesdays through Saturdays.
Fret not, loyal fans of the Tillman's Roadhouse concept and its hallowed french fry trio: The Bishop Arts location will remain unchanged.
