After more than a decade of slinging drinks on McKinney Avenue, loyal fans of Frankie's Sports Bar were mighty disappointed when it closed back in the summer of 2013. Now, Frankie's — it has since dropped the "Sports Bar" part of its name — has been resurrected downtown: Its new two-story iteration debuted Wednesday at downtown high-rise the Davis Building.

The new cocktail program was created with the help of Parliament's Lucky Campbell, but that doesn't mean you've got to shell out 12 bucks for a drink: During happy hour (weekdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and all day Tuesdays), cocktails like the Moscow Mule, French 75, Old Fashioned, Garden Gimlet, and Ward 8 can be had for just $4 or $5. As for food, expect everything from ahi tuna nachos and spinach-artichoke dip to burgers and wings, plus a few outliers like country-fried bacon and a strawberry-goat cheese flatbread.

For now, hours are 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. nightly, but look for lunch service to be added soon. Scope out the full menu, below:
