Plus, a swanky new location for The Hospitality Sweet.

LOWER GREENVILLE – For those in dire need of steamed crustaceans of all kinds, get to Ragin’ Crab Cafe. The new Lower Greenville seafood spot soft-opened to the public on January 1st, and will host an official grand opening celebration on Sunday, January 17. Shrimp, mussels, dungeness crab, crawfish, and lobster are all on the menu, and you can snag as much as you want during Sunday’s festivities at reduced prices. [EaterWire]

PARK CITIES – Beloved Downtown breakfast spot The Hospitality Sweet will expand with plans to open in Preston Center later this year. In addition to the restaurant’s coffee, lunch, and pastry options, The Hospitality Sweet will expand the breakfast menu to include delicious-sounding dishes like eggs florentine and cinnamon-hazelnut buns topped with cream cheese frosting. Expect the Preston Center location to open its doors in March 2016. [EaterWire]

KNOX-HENDERSON – RIP, skillet queso. The Chili’s outpost that occupied prime real estate on Knox Ave for the last 22 years has officially shuttered. This closure follows at least one more shuttered Chili's in Dallas, making it much more difficult to indulge a serious southwestern egg roll craving. Perhaps this means that Dallas is ready to purge itself of chain restaurants, including the On The Border that is somehow still kicking just down the street? [CultureMap]
