Step Inside Mudhen, The New Veggie-Obsessed Concept At Dallas Farmers Market

Mudhen Meat & Greens officially opened its doors this Monday.

When the Dallas Farmers Market announced that The Market, the eventual home for more than a dozen eateries, many assumed that Mudhen Meat & Greens, Shannon Wynne's new veggie-heavy venture would quickly follow. Nearly a month later, we've finally got our first glimpse at Dallas' newest restaurant.

Now that the concept has finally kicked open its doors, diners can expect Paleo and gluten-free friendly dishes featuring vegetables sourced from the Dallas Farmers Market's own vendors. Look forward to build-your-own bowls with quinoa and beef-buffalo meatloaf, plantain poutine topped with green chili pork, and fresh-pressed juices, super-trendy hot bone broth, and Holy Kombucha on tap.

If you need something higher-proof, Mudhen has an equally fresh cocktail program. Dive into the Dorking, mixed with lavender-infused whiskey, mint, and muddled pears, You could also just stick with Wynne's always-excellent selection of beers on tap.

Mudhen opens for lunch at 11 a.m. Monday-Friday, and closes at 10 p.m. On the weekends, brunch service begins at 9 a.m.
