This week, Downtown Dallas’ dining scene got a little fancier with the arrival of Grayson Social.
Announced via release, Grayson Social has officially opened its doors in the LTV Towers at 1555 Elm Street. The space will house two concepts — a “Southern chic” restaurant, and a members-only club that will offer insider access to events and special discounts for members.
As far as the food is concerned, look forward to more of the fancified Southern fare that has dominated Dallas menus as of late. Dishes like chicken fried quail & waffles, shrimp & grits, and “fried yard bird” really drive home the theme, along with more global dishes like pulled chicken poutine and a mushroom dusted trout dish served with huitlacoche puree.
A massive menu of 30 cocktails — all priced at $15 — is equally heavy on the southern influence. In addition to simple sips like a cucumber gin fizz and a lemon martini spiked with rose syrup, you’ll also find more interesting libations mixed with housemade bitters, shrubs, and syrups. Even chocolate protein powder has somehow found its way onto this expansive list of drinks.
Grayson Social will open for breakfast Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the weekends. Dinner service is available Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Take a sneak peek at the menu for Downtown’s newest eatery, then get ready to make your (early!) weekend brunch reservation.
