Since opening in Addison in 2014, Ramen Hakata has established itself as one of Dallas’ best spots to slurp noodles. Now, the soon-to-be chain is bringing its authentic Japanese fare to the ‘burbs.

A spokesperson tells Eater that Ramen Hakata will open its second DFW location in the coming weeks at 500 E Hwy 3040 in Lewisville. Construction is already underway on the the brand new noodle shop’s space, a former Einstein Bros. Bagels.

As far as the menu is concerned, the offerings in Lewisville will be identical to the Addison location, which means that you’ll soon be able to enjoy a piping hot bowl of tonkotsu or miso ramen without driving all the way to Dallas proper. The beer and sake program will also be exactly the same.

Ramen Hakata currently anticipates a late October opening for its second outpost. We’ll keep you posted on an official opening date.
