A Festival Celebrating The Mighty Tater Tot Is Headed To Dallas

In the world of fried potatoes, two heavy contenders reign supreme: tots and fries. Fries get plenty of fanfare on their own, but tater tots can, sometimes, feel a little left out. That is, of course, until you go to the Tater Tots & Beer Festival.

According to a newly-created Facebook event, this uber-focused fest will hit Dallas’ Fair Park next year. Depending on which ticket level you choose, you could be looking at an all-you-can-eat buffet of creatively topped tater tots and enough free beer that you’ll absolutely require you to Uber home.

The Tater Tot & Beer Festival isn’t a local event — it’s a national fest with dates all over the country, including stops in Austin and San Antonio. This appears to be the inaugural Dallas fest, unless this beautiful tot bonanza was seriously exclusive and under the radar in years past.

The Tater Tot & Beer Festival will hit Dallas on March 11, which means that you’ve got plenty of time to score your tickets.
