If you’ve been dying for the arrival of artisanal toasts in Dallas, the wait is almost over — Toasted Coffee + Kitchen will soon make its debut.
Posts to Toasted Coffee + Kitchen’s Facebook page indicate that the toast-focused concept is putting the finishing touches on its space at 5420 Ross Ave. The brand new, bread-focused new spot was originally supposed to open its doors back in the summer months, (as we all know) the best laid plans tend to go awry, especially when there’s construction to be done.
A project of Joel Roldan and Bob Sinnott, Toasted Coffee + Kitchen will serve up grilled cheese, specialty sandwiches, and (of course) artisanal toasts all made with bread baked in the shop’s in-house bakery. A full menu hasn’t been made available just yet, but look forward to sweet and savory toasts like rye topped with cream cheese and volcanic sea salt, a guajillo pulled pork sandwich served on Hawaiian bread, and plenty of gluten-free and paleo options.
Toasted Coffee + Kitchen is set to debut next week if everything goes according to plan. Eater has reached out for more information on an official opening date and full menu for Dallas’ first fancy toast shop.
