DFW has plenty of great options for Vietnamese cuisine, but in Dallas proper, it can be tough to find a good banh mi. That will all change when Sandwich Hag moves into its first-ever permanent home.
Originally a successful pop-up series, Sandwich Hag will soon open its first brick & mortar location at 1902 S. Lamar. Construction is currently underway on the 800-square foot space that will offer patio seating and a walk-up window for satisfying your banh mi cravings in a hurry.
Outside of the sandwiches that have sold out at pop-up events across the city, Sandwich Hag will also offer Vietnamese vermicelli-inspired salads, spring rolls, curries, and edamame hummus. A selection of milk teas will also be on offer with leaves sourced from local tea purveyors.
Sandwich Hag is set to debut in early 2017. In the meantime, you can scope out the wares at this weekend’s pop-up at Small Brewpub. The festivities kick off at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
