Enjoy Trompo’s Tacos With a Beer Next Year

And a patio

Trompo tacos

West Dallas taqueria Trompo will expand next year at 213 West Eighth St. in Oak Cliff. Recently named to Bon Appetit's list of the country's best restaurants, this unassuming spot is known for its spit-roasted tacos and the crowds of folks that line up to enjoy them. Now, those fans will have more space to feast on trompo tacos. As reported by Central Track, co-owner Luis Olvera says the new place, named Trompo 42, will offer a dining room, patio, parking and beer and wine menu for guests.

The original Trompo will remain open, but from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to service the lunch crowds.

Look for the bigger and boozier Trompo 42 to open spring 2017.
