The opening of Los Angeles-based seafood institution Water Grill’s long-awaited Uptown outpost is right around the corner. According to a release, the restaurant is slated to debut next month.

Water Grill is known for serving some of Los Angeles’s "most pristine seafood,” and Dallas’s looks to be just as impressive. The fish lovers’ paradise teases a variety of dishes from wild Alaskan Red King Crab to Large Channel Island Red Sea Urchin and farmed Ecuadorian shrimp and grits. Diners can expect 20 locally brewed beers on tap and 35 by-the-bottle offerings from the bar, alongside craft cocktails.

Water Grill is supplied directly by King’s Seafood in Orange County, and the Dallas restaurant will be its first foray outside of Southern California. The 7,500-square-foot restaurant will feature a 2,000-square-foot patio and a private dining room located in a wine cellar that seats 16. The Dallas eatery is slated to throw open its doors on January 11.
