When Carlo’s Bakery, the New Jersey sweet shop featured on Cake Boss, made its Dallas debut, plenty of folks were willing to wait in line for those famous lobster tails. Now, it looks as if even more pastry enthusiasts will be able to score baker Buddy Valastro’s famed treats.
CultureMap reports that Carlo’s Bakery will open its second DFW outpost in Frisco at Stonebriar Centre in the coming months. The bakery is the latest high-profile addition to Frisco’s dining scene, joining exciting newcomers like Cane Rosso, Cow Tipping Creamery, and D.C. chef Jose Andres’ Zaytinya, all planned to open at The Star, the flashy new development masterminded by the Dallas Cowboys.
Carlo’s Bakery is expected to make its Dallas debut in “late winter” 2016 or early 2017, which means that you’ll probably need to bundle up in order to brave the inevitable lines that will form outside of Stonebriar when it does arrive.
