Now that the super cold weather has officially arrived, it’s time to start getting into the holiday spirit. Just in time for the festivities, a holiday-themed pop-up bar will take over Proof & Pantry to celebrate the Christmas season in the booziest of ways.
Proof + Pantry co-owner Michael Martensen tells Eater that Miracle, a NYC-based pop-up bar that serves up sophisticated holiday libations, will take over the bar this weekend. In preparation for the takeover, Proof + Pantry has gone all out with the holiday decor, hanging up garlands and plenty of lights to help you feel that Christmas Eve vibe.
Miracle started in New York in 2014, and brings a menu of festive cocktails — and Santa-inspired glassware to match — to participating bars. You’ll be able to imbibe the Christmapolitan, mixed with spiced cranberry sauce, fig, and vodka (of course), or the Muletide, a mix of Aquavit, sherry, and pumpkin.
The Miracle pop-up kicks off on Thursday, December 8 and lasts throughout the month of December. Each drink will set you back $12, which shouldn’t cut into your gift-buying budget too much.
