Get ready for ice cream stuffed donuts, y'all.

UPDATE: Announced via Instagram, Hypnotic Emporium will open on Wednesday, March 2. It will be open Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Hypnotic Donuts has all but cornered the market on extravagantly-topped donuts, and last year, owner James St. Peter announced that he would try his hand at an old-fashioned ice cream shop that promised to be equally decadent. Now, it appears as if Hypnotic Emporium is inching closer to opening, and you’re going to want to be the first in line.

Over the past few days, St. Peter has been dropping hints via social media on Hypnotic Emporium’s forthcoming offerings, and they’re shaping up to be pretty dreamy – quite literally. On Sunday, Hypnotic Emporium introduced "The Dream," a fresh Hypnotic Donut stuffed with your choice of Beth Marie’s ice cream (like cappuccino chunk) and gently warmed. The juxtaposition of cold ice cream and warm donut may, in fact, be exactly what heaven is like.

You can also look forward to an extensive selection of old-school candies, like Abba-Zabba, Big Hunk, and Clark bars, all of which can be crushed and mixed into your ice cream, shake or sundae. Ice cream flavors include Texas whiskey, lavender honey, and (of course) a peanut butter, banana, and bacon ice cream inspired by Hypnotic’s epic Evil Elvis donut.

No official opening date has been announced as of yet, but posts to Hypnotic Emporium’s Facebook and Instagram accounts suggest that it will be open "very, very soon." No one’s going to judge if you decide to pitch a tent and camp out in the parking lot in anticipation of this deliciously exciting opening.
