EAST DALLAS – Meso Maya’s third Dallas outpost is inching closer to opening its doors in East Dallas’ Mockingbird Abrams Shopping Center. Announced yesterday, Executive Chef Nico Sanchez is currently looking for kitchen and front-of-house staff for the restaurant’s forthcoming outpost in this Spring. No official opening date has been announced as of yet, but the concept should be opening in the coming weeks. [EaterWire]

LOWER GREENVILLE – Nerds everywhere know that Monday, March 14 is National Pi Day, a celebration of the world’s most recognizable mathematical ratio. To celebrate, Greenville Avenue Pizza Company will serve up their massive slices for just $3.14 each any time between open and close on Monday. It’s a pretty sweet deal, even if the only pi you know anything about is actually pie. [EaterWire]

OAK CLIFF – Waldron Lodge, a sausage-centered concept that opened its doors in the heart of Bishop Arts in 2013, has abruptly closed its doors. The bar-restaurant’s owners have not yet spoken on the closure, but all signs point to the end of Waldron Lodge, including boarded-up entrances, disconnected phone lines, and a shuttered website. [CultureMap]
