If you haven’t been to Cheesesteak House, the nondescript little eatery on West Davis, you’re missing out on one of Dallas’ finest tributes to Philly’s signature sandwich. Fortunately for those among us who have been making the drive to Oak Cliff, Cheesesteak House will soon bring their queso fries and meaty sandwiches to a brand new location.
On Saturday, Cheesesteak House announced via Facebook that the restaurant will open a second location in Garland at Northwest Highway and Centerville. Considering the fact that Dallas’ cheesesteak options are pretty few and far between, the arrival of Cheesesteak House in more northerly climes is a pretty exciting development.
For the uninitiated, Cheesesteak House has earned a reputation for griddling up some of the best cheesesteaks in Dallas since opening in 2014. If you’re not a cheesesteak fan, Cheesesteak House’s burgers, salads, and chicken wings are equally excellent.
A call to Cheesesteak House confirms that the new location has plans to open in the coming days, with a more concrete date to be announced soon.
