The combination of burgers and beer is certainly a sure bet in Dallas, one that Haystack Burgers & Barley first won in Richardson back in 2013. Now, the concept is set to bring a second outpost of the neighborhood favorite to a swanky new location in Uptown.
Announced today, Haystack will open at 3838 Oak Lawn Ave. in the Turtle Creek Village shopping center. The new location will occupy a 3,000 square foot space that includes a full bar and plenty of outdoor patio seating.
“We have loved creating a special place in Richardson and so excited to take our food and experience and share it with our Dallas and Uptown neighbors and friends,” says Kevin Galvan who operates Haystack with his wife Jenny. A fourth-generation restaurant owner, this is Galvan’s second concept. Before opening Haystack, Galvan previously operated Ricardo’s Tex Mex in Allen.
Haystack Burgers & Barley is expected to open in Turtle Creek Village by August 2016.
