Sprezza, the long-awaited “Roman tavern” concept from Julian Barsotti, has officially opened its doors at 4010 Maple Ave.
According to GuideLive, Sprezza quietly opened last night for dinner service. The latest addition to the fledgling Maple Avenue Dining District, Sprezza made (nearly) every list of the city’s most anticipated restaurants for 2016. Considering Barsotti’s prowess with Italian cuisine, on display already at Carbone’s and Nonna, Sprezza is sure to be an instant hit.
The menu features “Italian comfort food,” including six different types of pizza available by the slice. Also on offer is a selection of impressive housemade pastas, like handcut tonnarelli and mezze rigatoni all’Amatriciana. The selection of antipasti also looks pretty darn incredible, especially the quinto quarto – beef tongue tonnato served with spicy giardiniera.
Scope out the full Sprezza menu below, and get your reservation-making finger at the ready for what will no doubt be one of Dallas’ hottest new tables.
