FORT WORTH – Yolk, the early-bird breakfast spot in One Arts Plaza, has officially expanded to Fort Worth. The second DFW outpost of the Chicago-based chain opened its doors in Sundance Square over the weekend, adding a great new spot for eggs & bacon to this perpetually trendy neighborhood. [EaterWire]

DALLAS – Think you’ve got what it takes to impress Gordon Ramsay with your culinary skills? On Saturday, April 16, MasterChef will host a casting call for the show’s eighth season, which shows off the kitchen skills of home chefs. The casting call will be held at the Sheraton Dallas from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. [EaterWire]

PLANO – For most of us used to ordering up sushi straight from the bar, Kula Revolving Sushi Bar brings the kaiten, a conveyor belt where diners can snag sushi as it passes by the table, to Plano this spring. A second location of the California-based concept is expected to open in Carrollton later this year. [CultureMap]
