It’s been a busy year for Cultivar Coffee. In February, the locally beloved purveyor of caffeine moved from their original location in Good 2 Go Taco to a brand new space at Goodfriend Package. Now, the upstart coffee shop is taking an even bigger step – opening their first-ever stand alone location.

Announced today, Cultivar Coffee Bar & Roaster will open their third location at 313 W. Jefferson Blvd in Oak Cliff. Cultivar will continue to offer its signature coffee and tea drinks, but will add a menu of fancy toasts in collaboration with local bakers, preserve makers, and dairies that will "transition" into a lunch menu.

Founded by Jonathan Meadows and Nathan Shelton in 2009, Cultivar Coffee Roasters has come a long way since its inception. Meadows and Shelton met working together as baristas, then began roasting coffee in a friend’s garage a year later. The duo moved into the space at Good 2 Go Taco in 2011, and have since opened an outpost in Denton.

Cultivar Coffee Bar will open on Monday, April 11 at 7 a.m. Notably, it will stay open until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, just in case you're in need of caffeination well into the evening hours.
