LOWER GREENVILLE – The Dubliner’s traditional pub fare gets a decidedly global twist as Chef Dream Kasestatad brings his traveling pop-up restaurant Pranom to the Lower Greenville bar on Monday, April 11. Kasestatad is a Texas-born chef who takes over restaurants across the country to prepare his take on authentic Thai street food. The dinner kicks off at 7 p.m. and runs until 11 p.m., or “until the noodles run out.” [EaterWire]

TRINITY GROVES – Pastry genius Andrea Meyer of Bisous Bisous Patisserie has teamed up with Kate Weiser to bring the world the “waffant,” a flaky croissant waffle stuffed with a scoop of Weiser’s decadent ice creams. The waffant is a limited time only offer – available Friday, April 8th until Sunday April 10th – at Kate Weiser Chocolate in Trinity Groves. [EaterWire]

UPTOWN – You may recall that Nick & Sam’s chef Samir Dhurandhar recently trekked to NYC to prepare a dinner at the famed James Beard House. On Sunday, April 24, Dhurandhar will prepare a six-course feast inspired by the dinner he prepared in NYC. Expect dishes like sea bass “tikka masala,” and Wagyu short rib pasta. Reservations can be made for $130 by calling the restaurant. [EaterWire]
