DEEP ELLUM – On The Lamb, a new Deep Ellum eatery from acclaimed chef Russ Demers, has quietly opened its doors at 2614 Elm St. Look forward to buckets of beef jerky on the tables for noshing, duck fat fries, and oxtail osso bucco among other meaty faves. [CultureMap]

FORT WORTH – Popular food delivery service DoorDash has announced plans to expand its service to Fort Worth. As of Wednesday, May 11, Ft. Worth dwellers will be able to have fare from Little Red Wasp, Velvet Taco, and other favorite eateries delivered directly to their door via smartphone. To celebrate the launch, the usual $6.99 delivery fee will be just $1 throughout the end of May. [EaterWire]

UPTOWN – Dos Jefes, the new concept from Nick & Sam’s owner Joseph Palladino, has officially set an opening date. Chef Samir Dhurandhar, also of Nick & Sam’s, describes the concept as a "casual cantina" that will specialize in tapas and tequila.
