Dallas Is Getting Its Very First Artisanal Toast Concept

It's about time

Carb lovers rejoice, as Dallas as getting its first gourmet toast shop. TOASTED Coffee + Kitchen co-founders Joel Roldan and Bob Sinnott aim to bring their artisanal toast concept to Lower Greenville and Ross Avenue this summer.

“We envision TOASTED as a place where Dallas locals can enjoy sweet and savory toasts, locally roasted coffee or handcrafted cocktails any time of the day,” says Roldan.“We’ve thoughtfully designed the space and menu to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.”

Per the press release, the fast-casual eatery will have a variety of toasts, grilled cheese and speciality sandwiches made with bread from the full-scale, in-house bakery and all natural ingredients.

Look forward to options such as simple toasts made with sweet rye with cream cheese and volcanic sea salt, and open-faced heartier toasts like country bread topped with bananas, coarsely chopped chocolate and sunflower sauce. One of the speciality sandwiches will include Hawaiian bread, guajillo pulled pork, pineapple, grilled red onions and chipotle mayo. There will also be gluten-free and paleo options.

The drink program will feature a variety of Texas-based craft beers, craft cocktails that will include do-it-yourself Bloody Mary and Mimosa kits for brunch, and traditional old-fashioned whiskey sour and premium tequila-infused fruit concoctions in the evenings.

“We saw a great opportunity to bring TOASTED to life as Dallas is becoming a hub for gourmet, fast-casual eateries,” says Sinnott. “We’ve strategically positioned our first TOASTED location in the lowest Greenville/Ross corridor, the gateway to downtown Dallas.”

Toasted Coffee + Kitchen will be located at 5420 Ross Avenue, near Pints and Quarts. No word yet on an official opening date, but we will keep you updated as more details unfold.
