Behind The Scenes At FT33's Guest Chef Series, Featuring Boston's Chef Tony Maws

A glimpse inside the culinary madness at FT33

While well established as one of the most progressive restaurants in Dallas, Chef Matt McCallister's FT33 is also constantly looking outside the city for inspiration – and talent. As part of its ongoing Guest Chef series, FT33 invites some of the country's best chefs to create a one-night-only experience alongside McCallister at the cozy Design District restaurant.

Last night, Boston's Chef Tony Maws, a three-time James Beard Award winner and chef/owner of Craigie On Main, too over the kitchen at FT33. Maws shares McCallister's passion for local cuisine and expert technique, which makes this duo a match made in culinary heaven.

Eater photographer Melissa Hennings scoped out the scene, starting at about 4:30 p.m. on Monday, right when prep for the 8 p.m. dinner began.
