If you’re not dialed in to the world of celebrity gossip, you may have missed that Shia LaBeouf (of Even Stevens and Transformers fame) is hitchhiking his way around the country. But indeed, the eccentric actor is traveling across the country in a “performance art piece” of sorts, one that brought LaBeouf to Dallas yesterday.
A post to Fuel City Mesquite’s Facebook page features LaBeouf posing with a cup of elotes and a Fuel City employee. The photo quickly went semi-viral, gaining more than 4,000 Facebook likes in just a couple of hours.
Clearly, the internet loves a former child actor holding a creamy, spicy cup of corn. Scope out the photo below:
One Facebook commenter who claimed to be an employee also added that LaBeouf enjoyed some Fuel City tacos on his visit, which is really the only reasonable thing to pair with a cup of elotes after a long day of hitchhiking.
No word yet on when LaBeouf will return to Texas for his next important role as a brooding elotes cart man.
