Score A PokéBall Doughnut At Queenie’s Steakhouse This Weekend

A real-life PokéStop In Denton

Whether or not you’ve fully latched onto the PokémonGo phenomenon and are stalking your favorite restaurants and bars for Jigglypuffs and Charizards, a newly-opened Denton doughnut shop is offering a uniquely delicious way to enjoy the latest mobile craze.

This weekend, you can score your very own PokéBall at Queenie’s Steakhouse, which recently became home to late-night doughnut shop Back Dough. Opened on July 8, Back Dough will serve up an ever-changing menu of doughnuts inspired by Chef Tim Love in the wee hours of Friday and Saturday nights.

To kick off the party, Back Dough will function as a real-life PokeStop and charge you up with a delicious fried pastry made with chocolate dough. Raspberry and vanilla icing and two types of chocolate sprinkles give this edible PokéBall tribute its characteristic look, and a chocolate mousse filling gilds the pop-culture inspired lily.

The PokéBall doughnut will be available at Back Dough on Friday and Saturday from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.
