Denton-Based Indian Eatery Relocates, Reopens as Hangout Bar & Dine

Former gas station Indian buffet staple Rasoi has officially relocated to a new location in Denton after several delays. The Dallas Observer first-reports that the restaurant, redubbed Hangout Bar & Dine, reopened on Thursday for lunch in the formerly bro-y R Bar space. The restaurant is four times as large as the original spot and features a nightclub with a full dine-in menu, bar, stage, and patio area.

Owner Brijpal Singh was forced to move from the original location near the University of North Texas campus earlier this year after the university acquired the property for building expansions. The new Hangout Bar & Dine features an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for $9.99 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and doors will remain open until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Several beers and cocktails are currently available at the bar.
